GET INVOLVED! The Dickens Victorian Village project has been made possible by a vision embraced by all levels of the local community
– from volunteers who have donated countless hours of time and skills, to committee members and leaders who have organized the “how-to's” of carrying out the vision, to sponsors who have donated valuable resources with which to build the project and support national marketing, to town officials who have helped pave the way by providing infrastructure support like security and permits.
The Dickens Victorian Village project received the prestigious President's
Award (one of only two awarded in 17 years) from the
Eastern Ohio Development Alliance, a consortium of 16
counties, for our first year efforts. This award recognizes the
project's contribution to tourism and economic development. We'd
like to extend a sincere thank you to the volunteers and
community at large for helping us make this happen!
If you are interested in getting involved and helping support this wonderful community effort, please consider one of the many ways you can contribute:

CREATE A THEME-RELATED PUBLIC EVENT
Please see our SCHEDULE OF EVENTS page to get an idea of the types of events that are currently taking place to complement the Dickens Victorian Village theme.
The possibilities are limited by your own creativity! The more themed events we have to offer,
the more engaging we can make the Dickens experience for visitors
on any given day throughout the season.
To help with your promotions, your themed event will be placed on the SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
page of this website, and will be marketed to visitors by the Cambridge/Guernsey County Visitors & Convention Bureau.
To discuss your event idea and have it placed on our website, please contact committee chairperson Jonett Haberfield or Cambridge/Guernsey County Visitors & Convention Bureau director Debbie Robinson .

Victorian style at a community meeting in Cambridge, Ohio. She also

CREATE A VICTORIAN THEME AT YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS
Simply dressing in Victorian-era clothing or decorating your home or business with a Victorian-era theme will greatly enhance the Dickens Victorian Village experience throughout the Cambridge community.
Imagine a visitor coming to town and being helped by store clerks dressed in period
clothing, or walking into a shop with Victorian-era decorations,
or driving by your home decorated in classic Victorian style.
The immersion of the theme throughout Cambridge will demonstrate our community pride to visitors from across the nation!
