2011 DICKENS GROUP TOUR EVENTS & ENTERTAINMENT
A complete list of group-friendly events and entertainment celebrating the theme of the Dickens Victorian Village will be posted here soon. A wide range of unique events include our hometown holiday parade, symphony concerts, train rides, live theater, tour of homes, peddler's weekends, and even a private one-man presentation taking you back in time to the Dickens era.
MOTORCOACH PERMITS
All motorcoaches MUST register prior to visiting
the downtown historic district. There is NO fee for registration,
and a complimentary step-on guide will be provided to all groups.

Local eateries feature Dickens-era menu
items.

A dramatic presentation of the life of a coal miner is presented on “The
Spirit Of Christmas” ride aboard the Byesville Scenic Railway. The ride
also features a sing-along of holiday songs, refreshments, and visit with Santa. Here a re-enactor points out one of the abandoned mine
locations along the rail line.

Hands-on activities are offered at select
downtown
merchants, such as this holiday decoration
make-and-take project.
