A tour group enjoys the experience of the "Spirit Of Christmas" train ride
on the Byesville Scenic Railway, which includes a dramatic presentation
of the life of coal
miners, a sing-along of holiday songs, refreshments,
and a visit with Santa.

A dramatic presentation of the life of a coal miner is
presented on "The Spirit Of Christmas" ride aboard the
Byesville Scenic Railway. The ride
also features a sing-along of holiday songs, refreshments, and a
visit
with Santa. Here a re-enactor points out one of the abandoned mine
locations along the rail line.

Riders take part in the interactive reading of "'Twas
The Night Before
Christmas" on the "Spirit Of Christmas" train
ride with the Byesville Scenic
Railway. The ride also features a dramatic re-enactment of
the life of coal
miners, holiday sing-along, refreshments, and Santa.

Members of the Eastern Ohio Art Guild have created the
heads and faces
of all the Dickens Victorian Village mannequins, giving each a
unique
character. They have done much of their work at public
venues for
educational and promotional outreach.

Dress and decorum of the Dickens era is embraced by Cambridge,
Ohio, merchants and attractions during
the Dickens Victorian Village season, as
shown by these supporters and staff at the
National Museum of Cambridge Glass.
